CDM Investment Group, Inc., announces Promotion of Jeff Shelton to Chief Operating Officer of California.
We are thrilled to announce that Jeff Shelton has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer of California. With over two decades of exemplary service and leadership within our organization, through multiple acquisitions and mergers, Jeff has consistently demonstrated a commitment to Building Excellence and innovation.
Jeff’s journey with CDM has been marked by a series of successful projects and initiatives that have not only enhanced our operational efficiency but also strengthened our community relationships. Known as a leader who will stand beside his team in the good fight, Jeff is well-equipped to lead CDM’s California operations into their next chapters of success. “A big part of my new position will be helping the new leaders in California learn and excel at their new positions – I was in their role for quite a few years in different markets.” Jeff has gained valuable insights from his experiences, and he is eager to guide new leaders on their journey to becoming as effective as they can be without delay.
As CDM continues to expand, we must adapt to changing market conditions, often requiring the adoption of new technologies and processes to stay competitive. This can be daunting, but it also presents opportunities for innovation and improvement. Jeff is excited to take on any challenge head-on, knowing that we have the best talent standing beside us! He says, “We have a list of known and unknown challenges ahead of us – what I want everyone to know is that I am the type of leader that will get in the dirt and help and fight alongside you when the problems seem overwhelming.” Jeff’s dedication is evident in his work, as well as to our companies – even outside of the office. He proudly shared, “I already have an E&K tattoo; I have a couple spots ready for my Elljay and Brady tattoos.”
In his new role, Jeff will oversee strategic operations and drive growth for all of CDM’s California units, ensuring that each unit continues to deliver outstanding value and service to our clients. Jeff believes his experience with E&K Companies, Elljay Acoustics and the recent Brady West Penta conversion gives him “a unique perspective on how to incorporate the best aspects of all our organizations.” His vision and dedication will be instrumental as we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of our industry.
